Thistle Fabrication updated accreditation to ISO 45001 international standard for Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) Management Systems
Thistle Fabrication is now accredited to ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS), the international standard that replaces both AS 4801 and OHSAS 18001.
Previously, we held certification to AS 4801 (Australian Standard) and OHSAS 18001 (British Standard). With the introduction of ISO 45001, organisations worldwide—including many of our clients in Oil and Gas and international trading—are transitioning to this unified global safety standard.
Achieving ISO 45001 certification demonstrates our ongoing commitment to workplace safety and aligns us with the latest international best practices, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.
Our successful certification audit was conducted by SAI Global, marking a proud milestone for our compliance team.
